This event featured an inspiring programme of presentations by national and international guest speakers outlining the role and value of novel technologies in developing a strategic research and innovation agenda for a globally competitive Irish food industry. This was followed by an exciting Exhibition showcasing current technologies, capabilities, services, expertise and supports in this arena. It provided a unique forum for face-to-face interaction between key researchers, state agencies and food company representatives.

A Special Edition of our Technology Portfolio has been produced focusing on Teagasc capabilities and expertise in novel processing technologies. It contains contact details of the main contact for each of our relevant “gateways”.
