纪念发展爱尔兰农村的大型在线活动：爱尔兰农业咨询服务的历史

A webinar marking the landmark publication of ‘Developing Rural Ireland: A History of the Irish Agricultural Advisory Services’ by Mícheál Ó Fathartaigh took place last Thursday, 17 February 2022. It was hosted jointly by Teagasc and the Social Sciences Research Centre (SSRC) at NUI Galway and had as its central theme the transformation of rural Ireland in the twentieth century.

玛丽·戴利教授来自Royal Irish Academy and UCD looked at the transformation of rural Ireland in the twentieth century from the perspective of the Department of Agriculture, saying: ‘It had an external point of view, looking outward at a time when the Irish economy and Irish society were extremely introverted, and building networks that came into play after Ireland joined the EEC in 1973.’

彼得·莫瑟（Peter Moser）博士从伯尔尼（Bern）的农村历史档案中的重点关注妇女的作用，并说：“关于妇女在爱尔兰农业中的知识与她们扮演的角色的社会，文化和经济重要性成反比。”
