13th INFOGEST Webinar on Food Digestion

The first INFOGEST webinar of 2022 will take place onWednesday 2ndFebruaryat 2PM. This monthly series, hosted by Teagasc’sAndré Brodkorb, focuses on the latest research in food digestion from the international INFOGEST network of scientists from academia and industry.

The webinar will be moderated byDr Susan Joycefrom APC Microbiome Ireland and the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at University College Cork.
INFOGESTis an international network with the aim of Sharing Information on the Digestion of Food. INFOGEST was created under a cost Action [FA1005] and has evolved into an open network of scientists from both academia and industry from over 45 countries. The aim of the network is to improve the current scientific knowledge on how food is disintegrated during oral, gastric and intestinal digestion.
The Infogest Webinar Series on Food Digestion began in September 2020 and is held on the first Wednesday of each month. Each month, speakers from academia and industry present their latest research on the topic of food digestion. The series will continue in the lead up to the nextInternational Conference on Food Digestion3-5 May 2022 in Cork, Ireland.
